The department cooperates with the largest universities of Kazakhstan, Russia and abroad: work is carried out on internal and external academic mobility of teaching staff and students, scientific internships and advanced training are organized in the following organizations:

From 2018 to the present, within the framework of the implementation of the international project «Improving postgraduate education in the field of sustainable agriculture and agro–systems of the future (SAGRIS)», a discipline has been developed and implemented according to the educational program 8D08201 Technology for the production of livestock products - Digital technologies in agriculture and «Smart farming» technologies.
The success of students is monitored through the work of the SSS, participation in various national and international competitions and Olympiads.
Research activities
The activity of the teaching staff of the Department of Animal Products Production Technology is aimed at the constant provision of guaranteed high quality educational services and research developments.
Graduation papers are carried out on topical two topics, according to the main direction of the research of the Faculty of the department, the implementation of applied scientific research in the field of agro-industrial complex according to scientific and technical programs: «Development of technologies for effective management of the breeding process of conservation and improvement of genetic resources in beef cattle breeding» - 2021-2023. and «Development of technologies for keeping, feeding, growing and reproduction in dairy cattle breeding based on the use of adapted resource-saving and digital technologies for various natural and climatic zones of Kazakhstan» 2021-2023, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the reporting period, the teaching staff of the department prepared and released 7 doctoral students, 37 undergraduates, 3 PhD doctors for the defense of a doctoral dissertation.
The results of scientific research of the faculty of the department are published in the form of scientific articles, published during research at scientific conferences in Kazakhstan and CIS countries. In total, over the past 3 years, the staff of the department has published more than 30 scientific articles.
An important form of communication with production is the performance of contractual work. The Department of Animal Husbandry Production Technology has been successfully cooperating with the farms of the Kostanay region in various fields of activity for several years.
The staff of the department actively travel to farms throughout the year in order to provide services for scientific and consulting support of breeding work with dairy cattle, dairy-meat and meat productivity areas (consultations, bonitirovka, milk sampling, feed), conducting scientific research, organizing a comprehensive assessment of animals, helping farm specialists in resolving issues of zootechnical and breeding accounting, provide advisory, methodological and practical assistance.
Important, decisive assistance to production is provided by visits to farms of scientific supervisors with students, undergraduates and doctoral students.
In recent years, students of the department have actively participated in competitions, Olympiads and projects.
The department fruitfully cooperates with the following livestock farms of Kostanay, North Kazakhstan regions: LLP «SHOS Zarechnoye», LLP «Temte», LLP «Kolos-firm», LLP «Kazakh Tulpari», LLP «Bek+», LLP «Viktorovskoe», JSC «Zarya», LLP «Berkut», LLP «Toysai», LLP «Saryagash», LLP «Nur-Zhailau NS», KH «Kaliev A.U.», KH «Koishebaev B», LLP «AgrofirmaKarkyn», LLP «Eurasia Invest», LLP «Moskovskoe», LLP «Zhanabek», etc.
The research work of the department is closely connected with the educational process, has a multifaceted nature and is aimed at providing training of highly qualified specialists.
