The Department of Biology, Ecology and Chemistry has biological, chemical laboratories, Laboratory of Soil Science, Entomological Museum, LabNetWork laboratory complex of the Regional Smart Center.
The peculiarities of educational programs in ecology and biology are that they are developed and improved within the framework of international educational projects Erasmus+, which ensures the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market.
The department actively cooperates with universities of the near and far abroad, with public and private structures in the field of biology, ecology and chemistry. On the basis of cooperation under cooperation agreements, contractual scientific research is carried out, regular meetings and round tables with leading specialists of the region are held, scientific seminars, lectures by foreign teachers and leading practitioners are organized.
The department teaches at three levels of education: bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctoral degree. The training is conducted in the state and Russian languages.
Our students study at the military department and upon graduation, graduates receive a military ID and the rank of lieutenant. The training is carried out under a state grant, both for boys and girls.

Biologist- covers a lot of everything that exists in the world. There are a lot of fascinating and interesting things here.
In the pairs of our faculty, you will look through a microscope, all sorts of bugs, spiders, mollusks and worms. You will study histology, anatomy and botany.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, the Department of Ecology, Kazhydromet, private environmental organizations, public organizations, nature reserves - these and many other enterprises and organizations are places of practice for students and employment for 95% of graduates.

Chemistry is the science of the elements that make up the whole world around us. It occupies a central place in the family of natural sciences. This is a fairly extensive field of natural science, closely related to biology and physics.
A chemist is a specialist who studies the structure of substances, their transformation and interaction. Today, chemists are involved in almost all spheres of our life — from cooking to light and heavy industry, from the military-industrial complex to pharmacology.
